Attorney Profile

Nicole graduated magna cum laude from Maine Law in 2018. While at Maine Law, she was selected for the Charles A. Harvey, Jr. Trial Practice Immersion Fellowship in which she shadowed and assisted many of Portland’s top litigation attorneys over the course of an eleven-week rotation. In her second year of school, Nicole served as a judicial intern in the chambers of the Honorable Kermit V. Lipez of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. While serving as a student research assistant on the Maine Advisory Committee on Rules of Evidence from 2017-2018, she honed her legal research skills to provide the Committee with guidance for evaluating and proposing changes to the Maine Rules of Evidence. During that same term, Nicole was selected to be Research Editor for the Maine Law Review. The experience she enjoyed most while at Maine Law was her time working in the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic where she counseled and represented clients in a variety of matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Nicole served four justices of the Maine Superior Court as a law clerk.  Nicole focuses her work on insurance related matters, including but not limited to, first party claim investigation, coverage analysis, defense, and subrogation matters.  She also practices in matters arising in general negligence and premises liability.

Before beginning her legal career, Nicole served the State of Maine at the Department of Health and Human Services. She lives in Freeport with her fiancé and their two dogs. In her free time she enjoys walks in the woods, a good game of cribbage, and finding treasures at estate sales.
