Abby L. Liberman

Abby L. Liberman joined Norman, Hanson & DeTroy in 2023 and works with the firm’s litigation group.  Abby is a proud McAuley High School graduate. She attended Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia where she graduated with an Honors degree in History. Her honors thesis centered on the findings of the 1937 LaFollette Civil Liberties Committee. She spent her summers during college working as a horse wrangler in Colorado for a hunting outfitter. After college, she gained legal experience as a legal assistant for an attorney in Texas before eventually returning to Maine to attend the University of Maine School of Law. While attending law school, Abby interned at the United States Attorney’s Office, participated in Moot Court competitions, and excelled in her Constitutional Law and Taxation courses.

Abby lives in Portsmouth New Hampshire with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. You can find her hiking in the White Mountains or exploring local bookstores in her free time.
